Went to the junkyard to get a door lock actuator & latch assembly today for my car. Found some cool and interesting things; to me at least. Sometimes these cars/bikes just look like pieces of art. That can make you cringe. Enjoy!

Whenever I see interesting non-collision vehicles in the yard, I always wonder just how close they were to being roadworthy before the owner gave up.

Regals Auto Salvage. Some subie parts, but this is a smaller yard. The one next door had twice as many cars. I just want to this one because of the 90 warranty.

The Nissan truck looks almost road worthy, it seemed to be missing only a few parts.

I don’t plan on going back until next paycheck; I’d like some fog lamps, :). But I have looked into it on a previous trip. If I remember right, it was gutted pretty good.
The yard is Regals Auto Salvage in Howell, MI. You can probably call them up and ask them about it. What were you looking for. I'm confident the shifter knob is gone. They are always gone in these cars.

I was looking for a gauge pob, but on further photo inspection, it looks to be missing. I wish I could afford to ship the gear box and tunnel if that a manual. I need a swap in mine cause auto fucking sucks!

Was this a pick and pull yard? Always sad to see neat rides in that state...a few junkyards here, but the closest pick-pull lot is over an hour away for me :(

Yep, pick and pull, which gave an hour long headache of dismantling the door to get the needed part, but I save $20.
I have two pick and pull yards within 20 minutes of me. The second one is the next road over.

There's also Miechals, which is literally the next street over. And apparently there's a bunch in the flint area.
